PUSD BofE:
PUSD is divided into five Trustee Areas, and each area is represented by a board member who resides in and is elected by voters residing in that area. The PUSD Board of Education is composed of five members elected to serve for overlapping terms of four years. Elections are held in November every two years. In PUSD, Areas A and E hold elections in presidential election years, and Areas B, C, and D hold elections in midterm election years. On November 8th, 2022, Areas B, C, and D are up for election. You can look up your Trustee Area with this interactive map.
If your Trustee Area is up for election this November, why not invite the candidates to your Board or Association meetings to discuss their goals for PUSD? Remember, PTAs may not endorse any candidate, and you must give all candidates the same opportunity to speak.
